Horizon Europe Missions Platform where you can share your ideas about missions

Within the scope of the Horizon Europe (Horizon Europe) Program, which will cover the period of 2021-2027 and is a continuation of Horizon 2020, missions have been created by the European Commission in order to explain the EU Framework Programs to the public better and to be evaluated within more measurable targets. The Missions aim to provide solutions to some of the challenges we are currently facing, within a set budget and within a set time frame.

In 2019, 5 missions were determined by the Commission in general terms, and then interim reports proposing concrete targets and timelines for these 5 missions were published:

  1. Conquering Cancer: Mission Possible
  2. Accelerating the transition to a climate prepared and resilient Europe
  3. Regenerating our Ocean and Waters
  4. 100 Climate-Neutral Cities by 2030 - by and for the citizens
  5. Caring for Soil is Caring for Life

A platform where you can share your opinions about the missions with the commission has been opened between 1 - 14 September 2020. In this pilot platform, you can share your own ideas as a proposal or support other offers by voting.

Deadline for submitting proposals: September 6, 2020

Deadline for voting on offers: September 14, 2020
